Albert Sears Sr., 89 of Washington C.H., passed away on January 14, 2017 at Doctors West Hospital, Columbus. He was born in Burea KY to the late Tom and Mary Frances Dees Sears. Albert had worked as a Mechanic for many years for Langs Chevrolet. Albert worked at Halliday Lumber for over 20 years. Albert loved to spend time with his family.
In addition to her parents Albert is preceded in death by his Wife Nellie Mae Smith Sears, two daughters Frances Coder and Dorothy Wheeler, one brother Willard Sears, sister Hattie Smith and two infant sisters, special niece and nephew Marlene Ludwick and Evert Smith Jr.
Albert is survived by a two sons Al (Gayla) Sears Jr. of Hillsboro and Tom (Shelia) Sears of West Union, two daughters Connie (Mark) Spangler of Galloway and Penny (Robert) Hatfield of Wash C.H.; grandchildren Ashley(Rick) Brooks, Kyle (Zach) Fears, Wesley Sears, Renee Crawford, Libby (Tom) Horney, Melony Kovach, Charles Pate Mike (Sandy) Coder, Mark Coder, Andy Wheeler, Michelle Davis, Melissa (Joe) Downing and Chelsy Hoffer step grandchildren Ashley and Joe Hatfield, Joel Jenkins and Mickea and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Wiley Perkins officiating. Burial will be in the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 until the time of services.
