James “Jim” Stanforth 64 of Columbus Ohio passed away on June 1, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born February 26, 1953 in Jamestown Ohio to the late J. Roger and Mary Lou Dudley Stanforth.
Jim was a 1972 graduate of Miami Trace High School. He had worked at the Morrow Funeral Home, the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, and was currently working for the Franklin County Coroners office.
Jim is survived by his son Huston (Shereana) Stanforth of Marengo, daughter Lela Stanforth of Delaware; three brothers, Robert Stanforth of Pleasantview, Vernon(Joy) Stanforth of Washington C.H., and John Stanforth of Wilmington, grandchildren Avenlea and Gavin Stanforth, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Morrow Funeral Home, Jeffersonville with Joy Stanforth officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview cemetery, Jeffersonville. Friends and family may call at the funeral home, on Tuesday June 6, 2017 from 4-8PM
