Petra “Petie” Margarita Alsept 79, of Washington C.H., passed away on Friday June 30, 2017 at her residence.   She was born April 29, 1938 to the late Antonio Vasquez and Jessie Salazar Martinez in Long Beach California. Petie was a member of the South Charleston Free Will Baptist Church and was a Charter member of Woodlawn Free Will Baptist Church. Petie leaves behind her husband Rev. Bert Alsept.   

In addition to her parents, Petie is preceded in death by first husband Rev. Arthur “Pete” Maynard.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons Mike (Teresa) Maynard of Grove City  and Heze (Lisa) Maynard of Fresno CA.; daughters Angela (Randy) Friend of Galloway and Lisa Fite of Upland CA; grandchildren Michael (Chelsea) Maynard, Jacob (Abby) Maynard, Jennifer Maynard, Rebekah Friend, Andrew Friend, Elizabeth Maynard, Joshua Maynard, Anna Maynard, Kimberlee Fite, Tony Fite and Ricky Fite; great grandchildren Kathryn Hope Maynard, Titus Daniel Scott Maynard, Faith Ellen Maynard and Ava Michelle Maynard and several nieces nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the South Charleston Free Will Baptist Church, 10035 Columbus Cincinnati Rd. South Charleston 45368 with Rev. Heze A. Maynard and Rev. Bert Alsept officiating. Burial will be in the New Holland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Morrow Funeral Home, Washington Court House on Wednesday July 5, 2017 from 5-8PM.
