Margaret McNeil, 83, of Washington C.H, passed away peacefully in to the arms of Jesus surrounded by her family on January 27, 2018 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born September 30, 1934 in New Richland, Ohio to the late Ralph and Hazel Kies Kinzer. Margaret was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and retired from McNeil Reality where she was a Real estate Agent. Margaret was a member of Fayette Bible Church. Margaret was a foster parent for many years, she was the life of the party, enjoyed golfing at Buckeye Hills Golf Course, she loved playing Nintendo with the kids and loved her family.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Sweeney, ex-husband Robert McNeil, brother’s Colin, William, Edsel, Kenny, Robert, Ernest, and Russell Kinzer and a sister Garnet Malott.
Margaret is survived by, daughters, Leann (Jeff) Cooper of Greenfield, Jill (Bryan) McCarthy of Middletown, Karen McNeil of California, Shirley (Lyle) Gutknecht of Washington C.H., brothers Frank (Francis) Kinzer, and Harold Dean (Edna) Kinzer, grandchildren Joshua McNeil, Justin Cooper, Courtney (Brian) Will, Jonathan Sweeney, Sarah (Jess) Spencer; great grandchildren Quinn Will, Dean McNeil, Trina Gutknecht, Emma Sweeney, Hailey Sweeney, Tripp Spencer and Leila Spencer, son-in-law David Sweeney.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 1, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Morrow Funeral Home, Washington C.H. with Pastor Tony Garren officiating. Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday January 31, 2018 from 5-7 PM
Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Shrine Club or to Fayette Christian School.
