Mary Joan Silleck 84, died peacefully on Tuesday July 16, 2019 in Washington Court House where she resided in recent years She was born in Canton Ohio on November 17, 1934, to the late Berdell and Geraldine Volzer Long. Joan is preceded in death by her husband Don U. Silleck.

While raising her three children, Joan volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader, a Teacher’s Aide and contributed her time and talents to several church and community organizations.

Joan is survived by her son Michael Silleck of Jamestown; two daughters Deborah Warren of Tarrytown, NY and Barbara (Rodney) Garringer of Jamestown; one brother John Long of Canton; five grandchildren Samantha (Corey) Hansen, Matthew (Vanessa) Garringer, Jacob (Brittney) Garringer, Hannah (Andy) Parks and Molly Garringer and one great grandchild Rowan Hansen.

A memorial service will be held on August 17, 2019 at 1:00PM at The Jeffersonville Church of Christ, Jeffersonville.
