Ruth Eltzroth, 88 of Jeffersonville, passed away on January 24, 2018 at OSU East Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Springfield, Ohio to the late Ralph and Dorothea (Myers) Agle. Ruth was a 1952 graduate of The Ohio State University and spent 30 years as a teacher at the Jeffersonville Elementary School. Ruth was a member of the Jeffersonville United Methodist Church and volunteered at the Fayette Memorial Hospital for many years.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Earl Eltzroth, two sons James Eltzroth and Joel Eltzroth, two brothers Bob Agle and Ed Agle.
Ruth is survived by her daughters Nadine (Geoffrey) Kunath of St Augustine FL, Nancy (Gerard) Liette of Virginia Beach, son John (Anita) Eltzroth of Chardon, daughter-in-law Betty Eltzroth of Jeffersonville, grandchildren Cristin (Steven) Ashe, Corey (Fannie-Marie) Eltzroth , Jason Eltzroth, Jenna (Timothy) Murphy, Danielle Liette, Nicole Liette, great-grandchildren Audrionna Eltzroth, Chancellor Eltzroth, Xavier Eltzroth, Harper Eltzroth.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 29, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Jeffersonville United Methodist Church in Jeffersonville with Pastor Tom Knauff officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church Sunday January 28, 2018 from 2:00-4:00pm
