Barbara Baker 87, of Jeffersonville passed away on Monday August 17, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Jeffersonville, Ohio on June 9, 1933 to the late Kenneth Upthegrove and Lillian Brown.

In addition to her parents Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Harold “Ned” Baker, son Arron Baker, two brothers Thomas Upthegrove and Kenneth Upthegrove Jr., grandchildren Leslie Stepter and Tisha Tyree, mother-in-law Mae Baker, father-in-law Wilber Baker Sr., son-in -laws James Hart and Donald Garrison.

Barbara is survived by her sons Douglas (Heather Jordan) Baker of Jeffersonville, Roger Baker of Jeffersonville, daughters Julie Stepter of Washington C.H., Nedeane (William) Dent of Washington C.H., Tonya(Danny Rosser) Logan of Jeffersonville and Faith hart of Circleville, brother Cliff Upthegrove of Jeffersonville, sister Vera Jones of Jeffersonville, special grandchildren Donta(Monique Stubbs) Baker, Terrell Baker and Marcos Baker, grandchildren Alisha Sampson, Digeo Hargo, Desmond Noble, Wesley Harris, Makenzie Garrett, Mark Baker and special niece Alicia Clausell.

Funeral services will be held at The First Baptist Church in Jeffersonville on Saturday August 21,2020 at 11:00am with Rev. James Smith Jr. officiating, burial at Fairview cemetery.

Family and friends may attend visitation on Friday August 20, 2020 from 4:00-7:00PM at The First Baptist Church.
