Carol (Martindale) Nichols 67, of Alger, Ohio, passed away on March 16, 2021, at OSU Medical Center surrounded by family.

She was born September 4, 1953, in Fayette County, Ohio, to the late Russell and Doris Cooper Martindale.

Carol is survived by three daughters, Carey (Quintin Hughes) Nichols of Bluffton, Cherie (Todd) Sanders of Hilliard, and Chelsey Nichols of Alger; and by her cherished grandchildren Kaitlyn Sanders and Nicholas Sanders; and five brothers, Darrell (Pat) Martindale, Jack (Elaine) Martindale, Dave Martindale, Dan Martindale, and William (Linda) Martindale; three sisters, Jane Fields, Linda (Roger) Freeman, and Vicki (Butch) Pauley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty (Martindale) Annon and brother-in-law Russ Fields.

Graveside service will be held on April 1, 2021, at 11:00AM at Fairview cemetery in Jeffersonville, Ohio with Danny Dodds officiating.
