Justin's Obituary
Justin Prentice Cooper, 41, was welcomed into his eternal home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 22, 2021 at 5:52 AM at OSU Medical Center. Justin's earthly chains have been broken. His broken body has been restored. His pain and suffering are no more. "I fought the good fight, I finished the race, I kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteouness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day..."(2 Timothy 4:7-8).
Justin Cooper was born in Washington Court House, Ohio at 2:36 AM on August 15, 1980. He was the first child, and the first and only son, of Jeffrey Douglas and Leann Marie Cooper.
Justin was such a family guy and loved very deeply. Anytime we would get together and share a meal was such a joyous occasion for all of us. He adored anytime he could spend with his niece, Quinn. Her singing, dancing, hugs, and kisses were fuel for his heart and soul. He loved Jesus and his faith. It was evident just by talking to him but also by watching him as he endured such adversity. He did it without complaint. He was an inspiration to many by his perserverance. Bible history was a favorite of his as well. He was very knowledable. His faith, family, and prayer are what sustained him throughout the years.
Justin was an avid sports fan and loved Ohio State football, the Bengals, and North Carolina Tarheels basketball. He loved reading books about the Civil War. As a younger boy, one of his hobbies was to dress up in Civil War uniforms and to also attend reinactments. He also loved to try many different types of foods, especially anything exotic.
Justin is reunited in heaven with his nephew Josiah Brian Will, and grandparents, Lyon "Doc" Cooper, Robert William McNeil, and Margaret Ann McNeil.
Justin is survived by his parents, Jeffrey Cooper and Leann Cooper. His sister Courtney (Brian) Will and niece Quinn Will grandmother Ruth “Norine” Cooper. He is also survived by many extended family members- aunts, uncles, and cousins.
