Kevin Rittenhouse, 49, passed away September 15, 2021 at Mount Carmel, Grove City. He was born January 7, 1972 to Rodger and Henrietta Paul Rittenhouse of South Solon, in Fayette County. Kevin was a forman for Lithco Concrete. Kevin leaves behind his wife Heather Penwell Rittenhouse. Kevin had an amazing life. He was an avid racer at the dirt track and drag racing but yet no stranger to the seat of a Harley Davidson. Kevin could be found listening to his favorite band, Jackyl, while participating in his favorite activities and loving on his favorite dog “Holly Jo” who claimed a spot in his heart from the day they met. Kevin never knew a stranger especially when it came to his special friends Jay and Brigette Pickell. Above all he adored his grandchildren and being Poppy to Makenna and Gatlin. Kevin lived a full and exciting life but his sunshine and love of his life, Heather, to do it all with whom referred to him as Bear. Their love for each other was no secret and will continue on until the end of time.
In addition to his parents and wife Kevin is survived by two sons Dylan (Jordone Ferguson) Rittenhouse of South Solon and Justin Rittenhouse of London; step sons Luc Fox of Bloomingburg and Trenden (Brittani) Fox of Arizona; two brothers Rodney Rittenhouse of Jeffersonville and Shane Rittenhouse of South Solon; sister Kelly Robinson of Jeffersonville; grandchildren Makenna Rittenhouse of Jeffersonville and Gatlin Rittenhouse of South Solon; numerous special friend and his precious baby Holly Jo
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 6:00pm at the Jeffersonville Church of Christ, 83 North Main Street,
Jeffersonville with Pastor Mike Hodge officiating. Friends and family may call at the church on Monday from 2 until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heather Rittenhouse to help aid with the end of life expenses.
