Kevin Stockwell, 61 of Jeffersonville passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 4, 2021. He was born March 16, 1960, in Washington Court House to the late Roger Stockwell and Rebecca Johnson Stockwell of Jeffersonville. Kevin was a lifelong farmer, a member of Southwest Corn Growers, Ohio Soybean Association, and Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association. He was an avid fisherman and Buckeye fan, and he had an encyclopedic knowledge and love of music. He enjoyed hosting guests around his swimming pool and making everyone feel at home. Kevin attended Heritage Memorial Church and had a passion to share with friends and family to put their faith in the great shepherd, Jesus Christ.

In addition to his father, Kevin is preceded in death by his sister Angela Beth Stockwell and grandparents Marvin and Esther Stockwell and Roy and Helen Johnson.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Kyle (Jill) Stockwell, daughter Taylor Stockwell and mother Becky Johnson Stockwell, beloved sisters Christy (Mike) Bryant, Heidi (Mike) Jinks and Stacey (Jon) Wilt; 10 nieces and nephews Brittany Bryant, Heath (Abbie) Bryant, Brady (Sarah) Bryant, Amy (Chris) Martinez, Stacey Jinks, Stephanie Jinks, Tyler (Courtney) Wilt and Bethann (Andrew) McLaughlin; 13 great nieces and nephews; the mother of his children Tari Grooms; and a host of dear friends and neighbors, including longtime treasured friend David Phillips. Kevin was excitedly looking forward to the birth of his first grandson, Milo, in January.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday December 12, 2021, at 6:00PM at Heritage Memorial Church. with Pastor Joy Stanforth officiating. Friends and Family may call at the church from 3:00 until time of services.
