Linda Glass 76, of Washington C.H. passed away on Thursday June 2, 2020 at Fayette Memorial Hospital. She was born in Fayette County, Ohio on May 28, 1944 to the late Eugene and Louise Eads Cockerill.

Linda served her country during the Vietnam War as a Captain in the United States Airforce.  She worked as an ER and OR Nurse at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital along with Infection Control for 50 years.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Lyle Arehart, sister Karen Vance and sister-in-law Cindy Cockerill.

Linda is survived by her daughters Nikki Bentley of Greenfield, Cathy (Scott) Campbell of Washington C.H., sisters Ruth Strawser of Circleville, Gail (Wesley) Black of Greenfield, Janice Davis of Lancaster, Noreen (Bill) Kelly of Denver Co ., Karen(Sam) Vance of Washington C.H., Dott (Doug) Harris of Springfield, Brothers Joe (Ester) Cockerill of Washington C.H., Tom Cockerill of Michigan , Richard (Mary) Cockerill of Washington C.H., and James (Barb) Cockerill of Columbus.  Grandchildren Ashley Campbell, Cole Campbell, Austin Braden, Brock Bentley, great-grandchildren Aiyana Braden and Rylynn Bentley.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 18, 2020 from 11:00-1:00pm with a 1:00pm service at the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church in Washington C.H., OHio.

In lieu of flowers the family asks to donate to the American Cancer  Society, Fayette County Combined Vets Association.
