Steve M. Baker

Steven M. Baker, age 66 lifelong resident of Jeffersonville Ohio, was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday September 21,2020. He was born June7,1954 in Springfield Ohio to Robert B. Baker and Hazel J. Clay Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents, all of his grandparents, all of his uncles and aunts except Mary Clay of Xenia Ohio, his sister and brother in law Sandra and Richard Moss, baby brother Robert jr., nephews Joseph R.W. Baker of Georgia, Tyrone Baker of Washington C.H., and his very close friend who he missed greatly, John Bowles. 

 He left behind his wife and soulmate of 45 years Robin (Tillis) Baker and three children he loved with all his heart; Melissa Tillis of Washington C.H., Teah Baker of Jeffersonville and Michael C.B. Baker of Jeffersonville, Brothers Bishop Keith (Eva) Baker of Georgia and Eric Baker of Chillicothe, and sister in law Annetta Evans Baker of Washington C.H., Nephews Nathaniel Baker of Georgia, Tylan Baker of Washington C.H., Nieces Eva Baker of Georgia, Janee’ Watson of Wilmington Ohio, Nine grandchildren who was the joy of his life Benjamin Morrison the third, Brittany Baker, Jeanette Baker, DaVaughn Golden, Joshua Golden, Michael Baker the second, Kayleigh Baker, Kiley Baker, and Julian Baker. Five great grandchildren Jayden, Khalia, Lauren, Hank and Theo. 

Also surviving are his mother in law Lois Tillis of Washington C.H., Brian (Dorothy) Tillis of Washington C.H., Charles Tillis Jr., Gregory Tillis, and Sister in laws Brenda (Gary) Burkett and Carol (Gerald)Lee. His very dear to heart cousin Richard Hubbard and Jeffrey Kitteral Jr., As well as a host of cousins.His longtime friend Danny Shaffer and his Church of God family at 25 Vine Street, Jeffersonville Ohio. 

Visitation  will be held September 28,2020 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Church of God on Vine street in Jeffersonville, Ohio, following  the visitation  a  Graveside service will be held at Fairview cemetery at 1:30PM.
